Myriad Schedule Pro - PlayoutONE support

Introduction

Myriad Schedule Pro has built in support for many Playout/Automation systems, and most other systems will also be able to import Logs exported by using the various "Generic" export formats.

Some Playout Systems require additional configuration or there as special considerations required when working with these systems.

PlayoutONE Audio

For each Media Item in your Myriad Schedule database you should enter the PlayoutONE unique audio reference into the External Reference field in the Media Editor.

Adding an Export to PlayoutONE - full 'Music' log:

To add an export to PlayIt Live, in Myriad Schedule Pro, click on the Stations menu, then Station Settings, then select the Log Import/Export tab. In the "Log Export" section at the bottom, click the 'Add' button on the right hand side and select 'PlayoutONE Log file'.

On the window that opens, enter a suitable Description and enter/select the Logs Directory that you want the files to be exported to:


Adding an Export to PlayoutONE - 'Traffic' log:

To add an export to PlayIt Live, in Myriad Schedule Pro, click on the Stations menu, then Station Settings, then select the Log Import/Export tab. In the "Log Export" section at the bottom, click the 'Add' button on the right hand side and select 'PlayoutONE Traffic log file'.

On the window that opens, enter a suitable Description and enter/select the Logs Directory that you want the files to be exported to:

Normally you should leave the Filename Date Format and Filename suffix as the defaults of "yyyyMMdd" and ".tpl" respectively. For more information please see the Aiir documentation.


Commands/Break Notes:

You can use either Script items direct in the Clock OR Myriad Media Items set as "Commands" to send Commands to the PlayoutONE log file. Please see the PlayoutONE documentation for more information about supported Commands.
